In the past I’d played with various daily duration projects whereby I had made a series of new work for say every day for a month or in the case of Useful Tactics for a hundred days. Drear Diary Digital 2017 was the next project I did using this exercise. I made a digital journal entry and posted it online every day for a year (give or take). This project was also a continuation of my Drear Diary and Which Side of the Line? embroideries. These two projects were made with an exhibition in mind, the Drear Diary Digital sketches were more about the durational aspect of the work without a specific aim for them to be pre-sketches for embroideries.
This is a handful of some of pictures produced. The full year’s worth of pictures can be viewed here.
